Update on Foreclosure

Hello SUDO Community, I have an update on the foreclosure, I have attached a letter from CAST, which also summarizes all of the updates. Basically Mulberry has told us: 1. X organization intends to pay off Mulberry Trusts’s loan to Omni Commons of approximately $873,973.00 2. Here is a $10,000 non-refundable deposit to show we are serious. 3. Attach a copy of Omni's Board Resolution noting the agreement between Omni and the organization paying off the loan. 4. If we do not hear from you by Tuesday, May 14th at 12pm, we will direct the foreclosure trustee to file the paperwork. CAST appears to be willing to work with us even if the foreclosure is filed. But we also have the option to comply with Mulberry's requirements and fundraise to purchase the building with funding from another source within the 1 week timeframe. We will likely be entertaining proposals from Peoples Programs and City In Motion at tomorrow's board meeting. Please let me know if you have any questions, or ideas or insights. Best William > I’m sorry for the delay on this. It turns out that the LOI should be submitted by CAST to Omni Commons. We will turn around and submit this for consideration by Omi Commons. I wanted to highlight a few things: - I believe we have till Sunday evening or early Monday morning to share a signed LOI for purchase to the Trust. This is to be accompanied by a $10,000 check. We then have 24 additional hours to submit the full payment to the Trust at which time the title is released to Omni Commons. - If this timing cannot be met, the foreclosure action will be undertaken and there is 90 days to pay down the loan. The clock would essentially start on Tuesday the 14th. CAST has the ability to pay $10,000 for the deposit but not the balance within 24 hours after that. Given this reality, we will let the Trust know of our plans to pursue an LOI with Omni Commons and the need for additional time to secure the balance of funds. This assumes that they advance to foreclose. - CAST would like to sign an LOI with Omni Commons as quickly as possible so we can pursue funding to meet the 90 day foreclosure window. We will not negotiate to assemble a partnership for purchase. We encourage Omni Commons to explore all options. - People’s Program and City In Motion have both expressed interest and have reached out to CAST. I will respond to both and encourage them to speak with Omni Commons directly. - We recommend that you determine, separate from CAST, if their offers are viable and you wish to sell the building to either of them. We don’t want to hold you up if you are able and prefer to resolve the matter immediately.

June 2nd Resource Fair(See yall Sunday!)

We'd love it if people tabling can show up by noon but we also totally understand time constraints- if you can only join us for a few hours you are still hugely welcome and appreciated. If you need a table or chairs, I think there is some limited tables available but we're a little short on those so if you are bring your own, that's amazing. Hackable door lock recommendations

I’ve been using a home made electric door lock for years, it’s got that exposed wires delight ♥️ I’m looking for an actually reliable electric door lock that I can reasonably easily hack to use my own software or replace the microcontroller entirely. Do any of you have a recommendation?

The amount still needed to transfer temporarily from SR/SMAC would need to total around $1800. Is this okay with collectives, especially SR and SMAC? It is very crucial we pay our mortgage payment, especially given that Mulberry is still deliberating whether or not to foreclose on us. Trump Satire

Hi All, I've written a Donald Trump satire, and would like to get it out into the public as quickly as possible for obvious reasons. It's an update of a previous version that I self-published on Amazon (KDP). Below are reviews from that book (it's been updated). I also included a copy of the cover. The work is ostensibly a briefing and guide book written for DJT by staff for when he becomes the president again in 2025. I've been a professional comedian and comedy-writer, but I'm a technical moron and can't figure out how to put this book up on a website, or on Substack. Since time is short, my plan is to offer it for free and ask for donations at the end. I would like to hire someone to get it up on an appropriate venue. hacked emails/text messages from Sierk

On May 6th, Sierk's computer was hacked by someone in Omni Commons who accessed his computer when he left it unattended. They took over his Facebook account, replacing it with a "Dillinger - Public Enemy No1" logo and sent direct messages to me, and to another person at Omni who was hacked in the same way a few weeks earlier. They also took over Sierk's Google account including his telephone number, and created a Signal account with his number, and communicated to me from all those accounts claiming to be Sierk. I finally talked with Sierk in person (on May 7th) and confirmed that none of the accounts were in his control, and he had no way of getting back control of his Google account. Last night he asked me (in person) to tell people at the Omni that they should disregard messages appearing to come from him (including over SMS/text messaging), which are now asking for money. *Sierk says that people should ONLY trust in-person communications with him for the time being. *He can often be found at Omni, working on his computer upstairs. -Jake
