next week is the fourth thursday of the month, which means it's party
time!!!
https://sudoroom.org/events/sudo-party-2026-03-26/
starting at 7pm and going on til we drop!
we've resurrected the ancient (pre-2020) tradition of the sudo party, now
happening once a month all this year (and beyond?!)! the january one saw a
badass charcuterie board and hacking on the Mac SE by someone who is
younger than it. the february sudo party was super last-minute but was a
smashing success with Arik bringing hella popcorn to eat, video games
(killer queen is awesome!!!!!!), and board games! ask him about 3d printing
blokus parts.
we need yall to make the march sudo party even better! want to bring food?
drinks? snacks? games of all kinds? let me know! or just bring yourself and
let's have a great time!

Hi Sudoers:
Oakland Theatre Project is using the Omni Commons ballroom soon for
performances of The House of Bernarda Alba
https://oaklandtheaterproject.org/house
Valerie the building manager is requesting help to
1) move several items from the front lounge space of the entrance hall
to the basement,
2) move the trash pile from the basement up and clear that space in
preparation for a walk-through by Oakland Theatre Project Thursday
afternoon.
If you are willing to help please sign up for the last volunteer day
option Thursday, March 19th on the Google Sheet. On that Thursday they

Hi there! I'm reaching out from the Open Source Hardware Association. We
are hosting our second annual Open Healthware Conference in San Francisco
this year and would love to invite Sudo Room folks who are working on any
open source medical or health related hardware devices to apply to speak
about their work and/or demo a device at the conference.
We've worked with Open Insulin, who spoke at our last conference and shared
that the project started at Sudo room, and thought you all might have other
folks working on devices.
You can apply to speak and/or demo a device here: Open Healthware proposals
form <https://bit.ly/openhealthwareproposals>
