Hey Omni,
Today, one of Omni’s neighbor’s put in a complaint through seeclickfix.com (city complaint system) for the trailer on 48th street in front of the side door. The public report can be read at: https://seeclickfix.com/issues/5726803
seeclickfix allows registered users to communicate together. The complaint can probably be safely ignored for both issues, but this would probably be a good opportunity to work with one of Omni’s neighbors and keep issues with neighbors direct without involving the city. Which collective own’s the trailer? Maybe the graffiti on the trailer can be fixed?

I have my truck at SudoRoom all day today and making runs for e-waste, wood, and metal. Can anyone please help, I don’t want to throw anything away we need, and need help lifting things.

At last night’s SudoRoom meeting we discussed the need for Omni to have a formal lease agreement with SudoMesh, which is now its own 501c3. We did not have enough people for consensus so I’m sending the proposal through email for any blocks and comments.
Since SudoMesh uses space in and donates $100/month to SudoRoom, it would make sense to have a sudoer sign the lease as well as someone from Omni's Finance WG and someone from SudoMesh.Â
The proposal is to keep the same agreements without any changes. SudoMesh is now its own 501c3, and will continue to contribute $100 a month to SudoRoom for the mezzanine space at the top of the stairs in SudoRoom.

If by next meeting there are no blocks, then the new lease should be signed.

Everyone!
Omni Commons' Annual Fire Inspection for this year is scheduled for
Thursday, April 25^th at 3pm. The Assistant Fire Chief will be training
a new inspector - this gives even more reason to make sure we are up to
Fire Code Standards before they arrive. Please take some time between
now and then to clean and prepare before then. We should also schedule a
work party on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday that week to get everything
cleared and ready.
To prepare:
* All rooms must be unlocked or unlockable. Do we have a key to the CCL
closets on the master keyring?
* Ballroom must be cleared of tables and chairs, mezzanine of stray books
* Extension cords disconnected and pathways clear
* All hallways cleared of stuff and at least 3' clearance in front of
any electrical panels
* Any piles of stuff should be removed and cluttered areas organized,
especially if flammable
* All storage areas cleaned up a bit and flammable materials put away
(mesh in sudo; phat beets, Village, CCL in basement)
* Any easily flammable furniture that has appeared in the basement
(couches in particular) needs to be removed. Couches are something the
fire department told us to move out of the basement during our very
first inspection
* It would be great to finally finish the door into the bocce court
I will be able to be at the building that day to go on the walkthrough
but anyone else can join.

Ian rewrote pos2charmhigh in python and got it working to convert .POS files
from KiCAD to .csv format for the Sudoroom pick-and-place machine!
this means we can use the machine to put parts onto circuitboards designed in
KiCAD (which is free software)
here's a video of it placing 12 capacitors onto two identical boards!
