Hey all, I want to not care about anything anymore and let wolves run wild through the streets. I promise, I'm working on letting it all go and I'll be removing my voice from many conversations moving forward. In the meantime, I am going to ask for safe space bans on every member who is in the building when no one is intentionally watching the door / welcoming newcomers and the door has been left wide open. This, to me, feels like an egregious safe space violation and encourages a culture of confusion, which we are working hard to remedy. N

Even though at times I got burned out by Sudoroom I can't express how much it saved me from burnout in Silicon Valley Even though we might quarrel the tech scene has so much negative sides and there are an awful lot of clueless douchebags out here who don't get it It's really cool to connect with people who are truly passionate about technology and Art. I see so many cities attempting to create their own silicon valleys and failing . You just can't The Bay Area has a unique blend of artists and socially conscious folks !!! Thank you for teaching me. Potluck party for Omni organizers - SUNDAY May 31 3pm

We'll be partying in La Commune and elsewhere all day Sunday to celebrate everybody's hard work over the past year-and-a-half making this building happen. Please bring your love, joy and lots of food to share. The party is specifically FOR anyone who self-identifies as a tired overworked burnt-out Omni volunteer. Laser cutter ready (yay!)

Howdy hackers, The vent tube for sudo laser cutter has been installed by I and Jake and it's ready to go for whomever needs it. On the cutter there is a URL which links to a guide to help you get started. Hack.rit.edu/tools/fsl Before you use the cutter just put the vent hose over the vent fan in back, and plug that fan in. At some point we will have a permanent home for the cutter so that step will be done for you, but not just yet. Cheers, -Adam
