Hello all,
Good news! I got an email offering 2 almost full boxes of CAT6 cable.
Should I take them?
Kidding! I replied yes and went to get them. I will bring them in tonight.
More deets later, I am in my lunch time w the food in front of me and I am really hungry. :)
Thx!
Hi sudoers.
I added some donation guidelines so people will know what to bring and what
not to bring to sudo room:
https://sudoroom.org/wiki/Donations
Now we can just point people here if they ask about dropping off donations.
I also added a link to this page from the left menu of the sudo wiki.
Of course feel free to edit/append if you don't agree with the list.

Just another note - if Sudoers that are at Omni today could possibly:
- start moving Sudo basmeent things into Sudo any time (copier, etc)
- make a place for those things in Sudo
That'd be great. Thanks!
David
Hi all,
MaptimeSF <http://www.meetup.com/Maptime-SF/> is having an OpenStreetMap
10th Anniversary Party and OSM mapathon this Saturday from 2-5PM at the
Stamen Design office in SF.
I've been meaning to check out MaptimeSF and meet some of the folks in the
geo community in the area and this seems like a perfect occasion.
(Especially since mapping is such a core part of LocalWiki
<http://localwiki.org>) Hope to see you there!

Greetings comrades, cronies, & contemporaries,
As I may have intimated, I'm spending the moeity of the month of August
canoe camping on our favorite lake in the Sierras, Utica Reservoir.
<http://www.ebiow.yasashi.net/images/UTICA/> It is really lovely here,
about 3.5 hours from Oakland at about 7,000 feet, great swimming and
hiking, and since this is dispersed camping, you don't have to pay fees,
listen to generators or suck SUV fumes. Anywho, I schlepped along a
metric buttload of extra gear, so if you feel so inclined, please come
on up. I have 3 extra tents, 5 sleeping bags, pads, plates, utensils,
stoves, tables, chairs, cooking gear, the whole magila, so you only need
to bring your clothes and any food you might want to consume (I'll have
plenty of rice and beans, but few other goodies). I'll be here until
August 30th because I have a funeral in Watsonville on the 31st.

The problem is where I'm camping is not immediately obvious if you
haven't been here before (which many of you have). I'm at Point Edmund,
to those who have been here, our favorite spot. And even many of you
who have been here do not remember the specific directions well. So
best is if you can hook up with my first wife Kathy, who is coming up
Friday the 15th at about 1 PM and Thursday the 21st at roughly 5:30 PM.
She'll be returning Sundays. She has room for 1 or 2 extra folks on the
15th & maybe 1 on the 21st, but you can caravan with her and she can
lead folks to the spot. You can call her on her cell phone at
510-326-9328 or try our home phone at 510-763-0591. Or you can try to
hook up with one of the people who has been here before and of course,
if you know the way, feel free to come by whenever you want.
If there is enough interest I might also go back to the hills in
mid-September for a stretch, about the same time as the infamous Occupy
Utica <http://www.ebiow.yasashi.net/videos/OccupyUticaLake_2013.avi>
escapade last year.
The hopes of the free (or at least the very cheap) world go with you,
Ed
PS: I don't have internet up here and will only be scanning my email
periodically from a nearby internet cafe. Those of you with deep
pockets and ATT phone service can get reception here. Kathleen is not
an internet afficiando. Her schedule is fairly rigid, so if you wish to
join her you should be at Slothaven on time.
Hey guys. My name is Matt.
I don't know if this message went through last time, so I am sending it
again, and sorry if you are seeing this twice
I have a Ultimaker v1 that needs a heated bed added to it ( have the
parts except relay) and the axis' realigned. Simple stuff but I am not
mechanically inclined enough to know what strength relay I need, or know
how to solder and wire things.
If you know how to build a 3D printer, and are confident that you can
handle this task, get in touch through this email deal-e-o and lets talk.
I can get you some money in exchange for your services of course. Or
maybe some prints!
can someone help me understand the unit W/m.K
it's a measurement of thermal conductivity of a material. I don't really
understand. I get W/K or K/W but i don't understand where the meter comes
in.
For a flat material of a specified thickness, i would understand watts per
degree per square meter, but i don't get the single meter thing.
here is an example:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S001122759700146X
how does that measurement work?
Hi,
I know that SudoRoom isn't Open yet.
When SudoRoom reopens will be there be a TODAY I LEARNED?
I never got around to demo'ing the RenPy game*: SudoRoom LOVE STORY*
https://github.com/romyilano/SudoRoom-Love-Story
It would be fun to show it.
Cheers,
Romy
