Hi everyone,
At last night's meeting (notes
<https://pad.riseup.net/p/sudoroommeeting-keep>) we discussed early 90's
electric vehicles and what qualities people think embody an effective
member of a Sudoroom. We've also got a draft wiki page to help better
orient new members:
https://sudoroom.org/wiki/New_Member_Onboarding. (Edits
encouraged!)
It was really just the beginning of the discussion, so please offer your
own thoughts to any of these questions:
- What does it mean to be a member?
- How is membership different from participation?
- Should we distinguish general participants from administrators?
- What is the best way to convert participants into administrators?
- How can we best avoid creating a burden of permanent responsibility on
the most experienced members without establishing formal hierarchies?
Cheers,
