I would defer to others since that would change the project.
The 8 switch is completely filled up and if it was on the 24 it would leave
little room for the future. No mater what there will be an additional 5
port switch that will live there too which is why I figured it was
appropriate to get some kind of rack. I assume it needs shelves because of
the devices that are currently on the beam. Those items cannot stay mounted
on the beam as they currently are.

Jake if you have an alternative shelf/shelves that you think would work
better for mounting behind the beam on the dark blue mountain portion of
the wall please share it in the next two days. Otherwise I will likely
purchase the device above unless one of the second hand alternatives pans
out.

I should also add that it will be mounted close
to a design on the top
mural painted section of the wall behind the beam so I wouldn't want the
rack to interfere with the art if it can be avoided. Nothing bigger
than 12U and 6-9U is probably the sweet spot.

pretty far away so not sure that they are worth the drive:
