Max, this is great:
"Be radical sudo men. Do your dishes, and smash the platetriarchy."
But let's also meet and talk, I think it will be fruitful. Please share
your availability on this calendar, and we'll start a little weekly meeting
group. I favor Mondays in case folks have similar interests:

As I see it - or perhaps I am wanting to see it
this way - this Men's
group's purpose would be to combat mindlessly performing inculcated
patriarchal motions. And in the process of de-conditioning yourself as a
"man", becoming a convincing, subtle and non-naggy argument for other men
to do the same. Slowly doing what we can do restore a gender equitable
society, from our side (while knowing that we can't do it ourselves, that's
the sort of thinking that got us here in the first place).
So a thousand yeses to all of the above. But how do we do it? In person
meetings? Too self selecting. Online? Not visible enough. Making a charter?
Toothless. Doing volunteer work? Pointless doting.
Here's my suggestion, and I'm open to more. Be radical sudo men.
Do your dishes, and smash the platetriarchy.
