I for one would be super interested in this, especially for our plant cuticle/epidermis and chloroplast manipulations, and general curiosities of course. Pollen photography is also a thing. $15k is bonkers but seems like the going rate. Wish there was a way you could just rent time to use one. I also hear EMs are getting smaller and more affordable in general... Let's hope. If that's true then may be smart to wait it out.
