just to be clear about the lock, THE DOOR HANDLE DOES NOT TURN, you only pull.
When your card works and you hear the happy beep that sounds like this:

and a faint click, you can pull the door open.
I think the latch needs lubrication, i will try to bring some

BTW I wasn't able to use my card to get in, it seems there's a new lock
with a number combination? Or it was already there and I didn't notice. The
card light got green but nothing. Someone indoors opened the door for me.
When I first got the card I was able to open the door.
