I studied Applied Linguistics and some computational linguistics -- did a
research assistantship in machine learning, etc. I currently build data
pipelines for an AI startup. Happy to participate in some related
discussions.

I am exploring this field as a total noob and
would love to do a
today I learned session. This can also be related to "AI" in a
cheesy way.
I dabbled in this a very long time ago -- 2 decades so it wasn't
called "AI" then :-)
- in person only - I am inclined not to ever do a
remote/ online
session though (maybe later, many years from now).
Alas, I am very far from sweet Oakland now, and can't return without
at least a definite promise of paid work.
