Thanks Jake! Since the server its used for infrastructure, I prefer to leave it alone. I definitely will be putting some stress to it and may slow things down. It just occurred to me that I could do my tests by plugging a laptop to the switch and share a folder from there.  If this works, then I most likely reach out to you.
