Mitch, Thanks for your message! I enjoyed reading it. I definitively think these amps qualify for "They don't make 'em like they (we) used to." I spent quite some time tracking this set down, piece by piece, for that reason. I'm giving mine up for much the same reason you gave up yours: a move. I haven't set up or touched the equipment since moving into a much smaller space. And I find myself leaning ever more toward mobility. If I were going to nest, these are the amplifiers I'd want in my nest. But packing light and old iron don't exactly mix. So it goes. I still have the rectifier tube for the power amp. Best, K
