Coming to the conclusion that sudoers should actively try and keep a better
awareness of their surroundings, including CCL. I know I often let CCL just
be at the boundary of my awareness and have no idea who's in the space,
although it would be easy for me to know.

Perhaps not surprising with all the random drunk people roaming around.
And yeah, guess we shouldn't have left it sitting around unattended. But
I'd rather live in an environment where I do not have to worry about
vandalism and theft for everything we leave out.
