My current hope is to make a counter proposal, then putting it in their
court to see if they are willing to take real action to make safe space for
Iranian dissidents. Also in our counter proposal, we can plan how we see
ourselves working with another partner nonprofit. I think this would be
useful to get a sense on generally, because potentially that could frame

Paige I think it's fair to say that PP's

we're talking about, who is an agent of the Iranian Government and a

people involved with the organization who are not necessarily involved

that organization) are incompatible with Omni and Sudoroom politics.
Please see this email about People's Programs to our list:

I want to be clear that I vote for Sudoroom to block considering PP or CLP
from participating in Omni, or at least block the proposal they've made. I
think others have expressed the same sentiment but we should discuss it at
the
meeting tonight.

Also Edwinsaurus, please dont be patronizing to

Also point of clarification, 1 of 2 of PP's founder/chairpeople, works
for
PressTV. How baked Iranian regime support is into
PP membership is not
known. Im not trying to diminish this concern, but lets not overdo our
accusations.
