The dispensers that work with a giant roll also need less frequent
refilling, because the paper is packed together much more than with the
fanfold paper towels.
The "touchless" dispensers are more hygienic. Plus I bet they cut down on
paper use as well, because you can't just rip out 4-5 towels at a time.

The only bathroom that doesn't have a paper towel dispenser is the one by
CCL. I agree soap dispensers would be good.

Adding Commons. I've also been thinking about this. We do have towel
dispensers in the bathrooms, and stacks of paper towels in the cleaning
supplies closet (across from the Small Classroom), but I usually can't
figure out how to open the dispensers, so I've often seen paper towns
stacked somewhere in the bathroom.
I would be supportive of a solution that is more robust for both paper
towels and soap dispensers.

How do we feel about paper towel dispensers at
the Omni? Are we
intentionally doing without, to save some trees? Are people worried the
paper towel roll will get stolen? Or have we just not bothered putting any
up yet?
I'm planning to get one for our lab sink in CCL, but I'd love to have one
in each bathroom at the Omni.
Touchless towel dispensers start at $25 at Office Depot. There's probably
better places to get them too...

PS: Ditto for wall-mounted soap dispensers...
