Yeah, we definitely need to keep improving the usability of the space. I don't want to diminish the tremendous progress that's been made over the last few months, but there is still a lot more that remains to be done. I think a cleaner is a great start. Moving beyond that, does anyone want to outline a set of specific actions that can address our biggest present obstacles? Here's my list. First, I'd like to identify stuff that is broken or totally obsolete and dispose of it. Second, I think we need a bulk waste disposal plan. I've done some runs to the recycling center, and I know others have because I see stuff disappear, though no one I've asked knows who did it. Not only will it take a bunch more trips to the waste center, but once we get rid of existing trash we need to find a way to limit the rate of trash accrual to the rate of trash removal. I really, really, want to make this happen. I've tried within my ability to effect this change individually, but all I've been able to do is take little tiny bites out of it. I think this problem demands a real coordinated effort. If anyone wants to join in a cleareyed effort to make a plan and then do that plan, let me know.
