I'm not sure how many lockers we really needed, but i think a system would be
preferable. I also would like my own locker, even though i'm not an official member, i
have been donating and trying to help where i can. There seems to be a lot of lockers with
padlocks on them, maybe a system should be put in place before we remove anything, and
also a claim grace period? i'm sure theres a few abandoned lockers with padlocks on
them?

i think we could afford to get rid of some lockers but i dont think omni needz more
personal storage space...there's already a locker in the entrance hall

I agree with hol, most of the lockers may be better placed elsewhere as omni-lockers
instead of sudo lockers. They just got buried under shit and un-touched for a long time.
I am aware jake is a big fan of lockers, so perhaps we keep some but not all. I have a
large locker that can replace the trunks in the back and should be sufficient for what
purpose they currently have. It has many small boxes and some tall ones too, it's
metal and very durable.
It is in alameda and I would need help moving it but it is free.

I have a locker. It's pretty clearly marked and has my lock on it.
We should have a system for lockers where they're each labeled with info of
whether they're available or in-use and how long they're "rented" for
or
whatever. We need a laser beam scanner projector to shine vector lettering
onto all the lockers so it's clear what's what. And automatic emails to locker
owners to get their stuff or pay up.
I want to keep the wall behind the giant robot reserved for mounting 4x8 foot
sheets of material for the robot to cut from. It's capable of reaching that
entire area and it would be like a great shop-bot. It has a plasma cutter
function and so it could cut from sheet metal too.. but that's just the four
feet directly behind the robot, plus a little room on either side for mounting.

Super Stoked about all the progress!
One thing for group discussion is the lockers. Anyone know the status
of who has a locker that they actively use and whether these are free or
generating revenue? There was some discussion about moving these to
omni common areas to be managed by Omni for a little extra revenue
generation, presumably with certain blocks of lockers reserved for free
use by member collectives. IMO the less personal enclosed storage that
happens within sudo room the better, especially if it enables us to
extend the workbench all the way across the back wall.
