I think Yar addressed it in her subsequent email, that we're not buying SSL
certificates anymore so there's nothing to worry about.
But to clarify, SSL certificates are a digital signature that websites acquire
from a "certificate authority" so that when people visit their site with their
web browser, they don't get a warning saying "this site is insecure".
