hi folks,
just want to get peoples' thought on shop layout. the materials pile has
been growing to the point of overtaking some of the work area. any ideas
on how to rearrange the shop? a horizontal rack would go a long way to
solving that problem but would take up space of its own. i also see an
entire table nominally for electronics, but do people really use the
oscilloscope? i've mostly seen people grab equipment from there and work
elsewhere. also, i put a new 'fine' blade on the miter saw so if you
want to cut anything other than wood please bring in a different blade -
the arbor is 5/8" and the blade diameter is 10". now just need to find
the right size bolt to lock in the angle for compound cuts e.g. dome
struts. are people still interested in metal work? seeems like
ventilation is the main hangup.
cheers
