Alls fair! Bathhouses are expensive to run
Well I'm not sure it's my kind of place. The marketing was a big turn
off ... Onwards pirates there are bathhouses in the east bay!

the NYC bath house costs $35 to get in, the one here is $30. Russians
love fancy shit, and building and running a bathhouse is expensive. There
is no russian analogue to our American fetishization of financial
insecurity.
When I went to Moscow I was surprised to see that 5'8" looked like the
median height for a man my age there. Then someone pointed out that we were
teens in the 90s, when almost 50% of Russians were living under their
poverty line. I was seeing the long term result of a generation starving
during their growing years.

I'm interested in the real deal bathhouses
with working class Russian
guys splashing themselves east village style .., not so much where a tech
girl like me would pay for $200 yoga classes with my girlfriend sex in the
city style or getting my douchebag boyfriend to pay for me with his bonus
.. :)
Let's find a punk rock spa! Oh wait isn't Andrew founding one?

You have to be silent at the Japanese one. And it's not co-ed, so my
male friends report a very strong pick up vibe.
