Hey Sudoers!
It's Wednesday. According to the calendar, Wednesdays at 8 PM are weekly
meetings, and most Wednesdays I send out a meeting reminder. After a few
really productive meetings earlier in the year, momentum has fallen off.
I'd really like to see Sudoroom complete the proposed reopening. It seems
to me we're stuck at this liminal space: we've got a lot of awesome
creative members and a physical space many hackerspaces would be envious
of, but we are struggling to exit the covid posture and address
long-standing issues such as facilities upkeep and sufficient revenue
generation to avoid shutting down at the end of the year.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to reestablish our momentum? I
think we should assemble a team of volunteers motivated to make a 4 week
blitz. I think with enough people making one big push we could kick
Sudoroom from first gear to second, after which we might be able to create
some self-sustaining acceleration in momentum.
Thoughts?
