I just want to re emphasize how I appreciate the work from Andrew and
Jonathan, pls keep it coming!
I'm down to be at the brewery on the 21st. I was there at Omni Open house
and can affirm Violet Wand from Kent was really fun. I can also bring info
for the WNB hacking night.
I'm in favor of bringing the old laptops for demonstration purposes only,
something like "turn a chromebook that can only browse the web into a legit
machine thru open source software". Or just what is open source software,
which I'm pretty sure 90% of ppl there won't know what it is.

Yes!!! I greatly appreciate both your work and I'm sorry you've faced
negative energy.

I think this was the key part of Jonathan's earlier message that got
overlooked! Even if temescal brewery isn't anyone's first choice, it's
still a fine place to practice. Then once a more high-stakes outreach
event comes around, people would be better prepared for it.
Also FYI all the brewery is giving omni money for this - proceeds of a
raffle and "nonprofit of the month" calls for donations.
