[sudo-discuss] Oakland Host National Poetry Slam- WEEK LONG

I know many people on this list have deep Oakland ties, so I wanted to be sure you knew that Oakland is hosting the *National Poetry Slam* for the first time in over 20 years. Sudo along side the Bay Area Public school have been a huge supporter of the arts and especially poetry. People have flown in from all over the country to be in Oakland. Many of them have never been to California or The Bay Area. This is their first experience with the city you hold dear. If you see one of the 500 poets please welcome them to the Bay!
