I am a student at ... a high school in Downtown Oakland. Our school requires juniors to find unpaid internship placements at local businesses on Thursdays from April - May. I am very interested in the possibility of having an internship with your organization. I am hoping to find a placement that will teach me about the different ways to be involved in the field of coding and computer programming. During my sophomore and junior years, I took classes involved with coding in Java. Through these classes I learned how to have fun while learning to code, and the way your organization offers a creative space with technology really interests me.
