Dear all,
I've been in touch with one of the organizers of Catalyst Project, an
anti-racist organization that educates and trains organizations/movements,
and they're requesting use of our space on Dec. 14th or Dec. 16th for an
event that would include 150-200 people.
I'm pushing forward and letting the organizer know that we can provide the
Ballroom for either of these dates. Please let me know ASAP if there's any
possible conflicts.
I feel strongly that we do our best to provide this space for Catalyst at
this time as we need to step up and provide whatever support and solidarity
we can for the PoC community.
Let me know if you'd like to help bottom-line this event. I expect there
will be a lot of new folks coming into our space for the first time, people
that we'd like to open relationships with now and into the future.

Niki, could you specify what you're having difficulties with re: the
calendar? I've been trying to find time to add some comprehensive guides to
our tools to the wiki, and would love any feedback to help inform it.

I think I figured it out - I was going to this address:

But see that I am able to add events at this address:

There are pending events at /occupy that I am unable to publish. It seems
they need to be manually entered into /calendar - is this correct?
Also - can someone tell me how to make an event recurring? I can't figure
that one out (I'm sure it's something simple).
Lastly - it seems like BAPS events aren't getting pulled to the global
calendar - I know Lynice's new class has been on the BAPS calendar for
awhile but it's not on the global calendar while her old class still is.
I can fix this manually.

not to do this too often, as it sometimes messes with the feed (eg adding
two instances of the same event).
I can fix this manually.

Indeed, the BAPS feed hadn't updated in 3 weeks - seems the request keeps
timing out. I was able to update it now but it took me two tries. I'll make
a note to check the feeds are syndicating regularly.
