Hey Sudo. Here're the minutes from tonight's meeting, along with the TL;DR:
https://pad.riseup.net/p/sudoroommeeting-keep
Reopening
After some quieter months, Sudo's getting more active. Reopening isn't
going to entail any single change, just a continuation of the recent bloom
in activity. Expect to see more events, more communication on social media,
and more new faces.
(Social media links here: https://twitter.com/sudoroom/https://www.instagram.com/sudohuman/)
Clean-up
This too is gradual, but Mark would like to hold a cleaning day on Sunday,
March 13th from 1 PM onward. If you're eager to clear some space for a
project or decorate a bit, don't be shy: step up and offer to help Mark on
the 13th. Alternatively, be the change you wanna see. Jake hauled off
hundreds of pounds of Ewaste this week. He can give you the address if
anyone else wants to do the same.

Thinking about projects in micro mobility and change management for Americans. How do we get people who drive cars to walk as much as people who take subways? Make safer biking paths? Remove easy parking and encourage car drivers to park and walk or take a bike share
Most people don’t want to live in strip mall friendly places anymore
Along with light protection mapping this is another cool topic of my time at SudoRoom!!

Greetings Sudo Room!
This is your monthly donation invoice. Thank you for stewarding the
commons!
Love and solidarity,
Omni Commons Finance Working Group
Hi everyone,
you're getting this email either because you're on the sudoroom discuss email
list, or because I BCC'd you directly. Tonight I'll be hosting Sudoroom for
those who want to come hack on whatever in person, or through telepresence of
any means you can invoke. There's a link to the Jitsi telescreen in this email!
Remember that Omni Commons and Sudoroom policy is presently that
EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES INSIDE THE BUILDING.
(if you want to eat something you should go outside)
in the past few weeks, we've had about 4-10 people over the course of the
evening, not including remote participants who logged in through the
telescreen.
I try to be there soon after 6pm.
if you get to the door (at the corner of 48th and shattuck) and you can't get
in, call me or someone else who's there to let you in! Email me if you don't
have my phone number. Actually a great way to get our attention is to join the
video chat link at the end of this email!
We don't always hear the doorbell and I don't answer it after 10PM anyway
because of diminishing returns :)
You should get on this sudoroom discuss mailinglist! click here:
https://sudoroom.org/lists/postorius/lists/sudo-discuss.sudoroom.org/
and you should donate to sudoroom, monthly, by signing up here:
https://sudoroom.org/humans
and if you need to make a one-time donation, you can go here:
https://sudoroom.org/donate
bonus: join the jitsi videochat with the space tonight, and chat with each
other as well as a giant TV screen/speakerphone on the wall of the space:
https://meet.waag.org/turtlesturtlesturtles
(don't worry if you're the only one in the "room", others will join eventually,
and if the camera is pointed at the floor, just yell until someone comes and
talks to you and then ask them to aim it back up into the room)
see you soon!

when i try to go to sudo-humans i get a cert error

I know that people are working on a replacement for sudo-humans but maybe we
should fix this anyway until that's ready?
thank you
