Hi Dylan, yes we have a bunch of Trip glasses! Like as reviewed here: https://the-gadgeteer.com/2009/11/07/trip-glasses-review/ here is the original page about them: https://web.archive.org/web/20160309183257/http://cornfieldelectronics.com/… they originally run on a coin-cell battery but because they were manufactured with counterfeit CPUs, they don't properly shut off and then the battery gets drained. So they need to be powered with other batteries, such as a pair of AA batteries in an enclosure with an on/off switch. I can help you fix them up! How many pairs do you want? Sudoroom Meeting/Party tonight

Hi everyone! We didn't have very good attendance at the last meeting, and I can understand why - meetings can be annoying, boring, or even unpleasantly dramatic. Nobody wants that! Things are better these days, and we have the potential for Sudoroom and Omni to grow into even better things than they ever have before. But we need to meet up and talk about things, and encourage each other to participate in whatever ways we can. Just showing up to the meeting is really helping! A lot of people came last night to Hardware Hacking Tuesday, and it was fun. If we could get half that many people to show up to meetings, it would make a huge difference in the energy of the space. Cleaning up, organizing, and even making things or collaborating on things, or playing with the synthesizer, are all options before and after the meeting, and to an extent even during the meeting! So if you have a chance, please show up at Sudoroom meetings, whether in-person or virtually. This is how we build community and keep the project going. Tonight at 7PM! sudoroom phone is working!!!!!!

Oops I figured it out, I filed a trouble ticket with voip.ms and they pointed me to the thing I had misconfigured on their web portal!!!! sudo telephone is working! the phone number is (IHA)CKA-T386 aka (442)252-8386 presently the telephone handset doesn't work so you have to press the speakerphone button to answer it Who wants to make a sandwichboard sign for the sidewalk with our number on it? -jake On Tue, 5 Mar 2024, Jake wrote: > Wow that's cool!!! VoIP phones? SIP configuration?

does anyone know how to set up VOIP phones? I have a bunch of them and i want to set them up to call around. We used to have an asterisk server at sudoroom, but that computer died or something...and i have never been able to figure out how to configure asterisk even though i've tried a couple of times. presently i'm trying to do the most basic vanilla shit with https://onsip.com I've set up a plain old Polycom model 321 phone according to instructions, but it still doesn't do anything, and i can't get it to make or receive calls. Anyone want to help? I have extra phones. -jake
