I've just left Make to help grow a new event that has a ton of overlap. You can find it at OpenSauce.com. Basically, back in 2019 when Maker Faire died for a while, we started brainstorming what a new event could be, mashing up our favorite parts of Maker Faire and Vidcon. OpenSauce was born. Tons of maker booths and a stage packed with folks you will recognize. We don't have a blog or magazine though, so getting the word out to get people to come show off requires a bit more of a personal touch. The event is in mid June. Repair registrant for tonight

Hi Sudoers: Erica from Oakland has signed up for tonight's Software and Hardware Hack Night with these two items: 1 Shop vac Craftsman CMXEVBE17250 It stopped working. I think it worked too hard to pull air through a clogged filter. 2 Small air purifier Germguardian AC4100 It smelled and then stopped working. I think the off-brand filter I bought didn’t let enough air through. Please give Erica a warm Sudorom / Omni Commons welcome; we typically have many drop-ins who don't register and just show up.
