Okay, cool, we will come on Tuesday.
Mike and I talked about meeting there the earlies possible, he mentioned
even 4pm would work for him. But, I have to confirm the time to him on
Tuesday, since I don't know how early I can leave from work that day.
I will try to message the list, so you know.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hello All,
Could someone please give me the update on the wiring by the corner's
entrance?
when I left today, there was an issue that the existing drill bit was not
long enough.
If making the whole, for the network cable, still not done, please let me
know.
A friend and I can come on Tuesday with a few feel long drill bit to take
care of it.
I just need to confirm my friend that it still needed; so we can meet there
on Tuesday.
Many thanks in advance,
Daniel

is there a sudoroom version of 5 minutes of fame? with all the radical
politics, feminism and queeryness?
i went to my first 5 minutes of fame and it was fun
! instead of having to hear pitch decks people were able to talk about
projects they loved.

I'm trying to drive several devices:
1) 1x 1w 12v fan (pentium 2 cpu cooler)
2) 1x 100w 35v 3a smd led. (I want the led to be dimmable & ideally capable
of high frequency switching :))
- *Forward Voltage (VF): DC 32-34V*
- *Forward current (IF): 3000MA*
- *Out put Lumens: 8000-9500LM*
3) several other servo/stepper motors for pan/tilt type uses
with one arduino uno.
Obviously, the arduino will not power the led so I need a driver for it &
maybe even the motors.
My research leads me to think that the led wants a constant current of 3
amps & a variable voltage for dimming. Circuits of this caliber have not
been forthcoming in my searches on the web.
Thank you for your consideration. Cheers
Robb
Would you all be into experimenting with the sudomesh ? Maybe we can time bank it and structure training that way.
I love the project but I get lost in all the awesome details ..

hey i'm going to chat about this maybe at our next meeting. it's the time
bank project. carl is awesome, he's working on it, some other folks are too
Do we have a sudoroom version of the 5 minutes of fame?
this is a time bank project some smart sudoroom folks are working on. I put
all this smart stuff in one place on the sudoroom repo!

Hi,
My name is Ashley and I work for Pitch 5 Productions, a tv production company based in Los Angeles. We are working on a pilot for a major cable network and are looking for inventors for a segment of the show, so we’re reaching out to Maker/Hackerspaces around the country to find some really amazing creations. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone within your organization might be interested, or if you could submit the following post in any bulletins or message boards. Here’s what we’re looking for:
We are casting inventors who would want to have one of their inventions safety tested by a major product testing company. Inventors would appear on camera for a non airing pilot. Inventors would demonstrate their invention and engineers would put their product through appropriate safety testing. For example, if the product has electrical components, some type of motor, or plugs in, they would put the product through the necessary tests to receive a safety mark.
This is a great opportunity for inventors who are trying to get their product to market.
Interested candidates please send contact info, a brief description of your product and current photo of yourself to ashley(a)pitch5productions.com.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call or email.
Best,
Ashley Sims
