The one you linked to can only handle 150°C max - I doubt most
thermoelectric coolers have a lower Tmax than that (the first one I
randomly looked up listed Max Operating Temp: 180°C).
I think that most of the TEC's sold are actually designed as CPU coolers,
so they should be able to handle temperatures well above the boiling point
of water.

in mind, I am look for the TEG (thermoelectric generator) kind, not TEC
kind often recovered for thermoelectric cooling.
