A few leads on the topic, courtesy of Bart Bernhardt (who had answered a
call for ideas on a broader subject for Valentine's Day this year). Kyle
and people from AE did a show-and-tell for the Commonwealth Club

"- Kyle Machulis is a whip-smart brash software engineer who, on the
side, blogs about teleldildonics (using haptic and telecommunications
technology to facilitate long-distance sex), DIY sex toys, and other
mash-ups of sex and tech. He's really fun.

- Long, long ago, the Exploratorium Biology dept had an exhibit that was
something like "The Olfaction of Attraction" and had little squeeze
bottles with human pheromones in them. Depending on your genes and
gender, you may find the smell either repulsive or attractive. This
would make a great interactive station. It's fantastic seeing two
people, one with a look of disgust and the other with a pleased smile,
trying to reconcile their different perceptions.
- The Archaeology of Vice. Kari Jones and Liz Clevinger work in the
archaeology programs at the Presidio of San Francisco. Among the things
unearthed? Well, the archeological record suggests that, shockingly,
soldiers stationed there liked sex, based on the wide range of vintage
porn, prophylactics, and medically-dubious STD cures dug up in the
Presidio."

I know we all love Google like a relative (that won't leave us alone about
our private lives), but it seems like a good idea to use their "Forms" for
this survey
IF you've already replied to list:
don't worry about refilling it out, I'll migrate responses
ELSE:

IF interested in revamping questions:
form is openly editable
