Are you going to be around tuesday? Or I could come in Wed to talk to you
about it. I ordered some PVC free (laser safe) vinyl with adhesive so we
can try making some laptop skins and custom stickers. Dont think painting
right on the laptop is a good idea but interested to hear what youve been
thinking. Its one thing if the computer owner is painting it, but another
thing if we are just painting all of them/ a big chunk of them. Im happy to
help with laser cutter whenever this event happens.
And ok, only using dell Latitudes for this first event sounds good to me.

just a detail, Paige and I worked on a "pogo-pin" connector that should
be
able to flash the chromebooks from the accessible
side of the logic
board, so
that only the bottom of the computer has to come
off (which needs to
come off
anyway because of the write-protect screw that
has to be removed)
and when the time comes that we've dealt with the unlocked Latitudes and
if
we
still need to reflash the chromebooks (maybe the
school district will
actually
deprovision them?) then I will have time to work
on that project more.
