Hey Romy,
I strongly recommend 3-d printing them in plastic then using that
plastic part as a pattern for conventional sandcasting techniques to
create a metal version of the part. I use the same style of casting
flask as shown in this tutorial:

I've done a few coin/paperweight type things this way using a
bismuth-tin alloy which is nontoxic. Probably best results if you leave
the holes closed on the pattern and drill them out.
