There is a functional lathe in sudo right now that has some (possibly
not all) of the attachments for wood FYI if anyone wants to learn.
On the general woodworking + fire safety topic, I think it would be good
to find a place in Omni away from all the metal/soldering/etc tools to
store lumber, possibly colocate some woodworking tools. Dust collection
would be a must but could be cool to have a woodworking collective in
the basement with all wood stored on racks instead of stuffed under sudo
shop table.

Might want to check with Place for Sustainable Living
to see if they want it instead. I think it might fit in great there - they do a lot of
crafting.

Good Evening Folks,
I have a large used wood working lathe and someone suggested that I might want to donate
it to you folks. I don't see wood working as part of what you have going on, but I
thought I'd send a quick not to see if you're interested. It sits on a wooden
stand and is about 3' high and 5' wide. Any interest? I would deliver it.
Please let me know if you're not interested and I'll search for another
recipient.
Peace,
Barry Cammer
