Hey Daniel, just for you to know you're not alone in this journey, I also
did a BootCamp and now work in the tech industry, totally worth IMO, I was
at risk of not being able to afford Oakland anymore and that move totally
changed things.
I did a BootCamp for women/non binary only, but there are a bunch out
there. The only thing is that they're usually $$$, some have a deal to pay
it only after getting a job, but yea, it's a bit of pressure not everyone
is down to take. I know a friend who's doing one that is free but like
do-it-in-your-own-pace style, let me ask her the name.
If you have any question about bootcamps in general feel free to dm me.
ps: I love kingfish! Havent been there since pandemic, but maybe I can stop
by soon!

Hey guys!
My name is Daniel and I have been following this email list for awhile
now. Love reading about all the stuff you guys are doing in the Sudo Room.
I have a few raspberry pis and love tinkering and just working with Linux
command line.
I was hoping someone could recommend a good coding bootcamp?
Right now im the doorman/security at the Kingfish pub. Come by sometime
and say hello! I'm at the door checking IDs Thursday Friday Saturdays.
Sometimes I bartend mondays.
It would be nice to have a well paying job in the tech sector. Maybe
become a software engineer or coder of some sort.
Any tips or information would be appreciated so much 🙏
Thank you!
-Daniel
