Hi, is anyone trracking Facebook and their OpenCellular project ? To me this looks like re-implementation OpenBTS but as software defined radio. If you missed announcement from Facebook: https://code.facebook.com/posts/1754757044806180/introducing-opencellular-a… If Facebook releases this platform as open hardware this could be interesting platform for open mesh networks... Facebook approach is to use software defined radio and so far they got 2G working but they plan to have everything from 2G to LTE and Wifi done in SDR. Looks like a really interesting project... if anyone has some info please share because their press release is quite sparse with any concrete info...
