It's two days until art murmur. A number of folks said they'd look
into getting a car battery charger, but who's done it? Any progress?

for the nodes or for the printer?
i have 2 small ones suitable for UPS batteries, but we'd need a bigger one for big car
batteries. I plan to bring in 4 charged 3.5Ah x 12V batteries plus one large deep cycle
tomorrow night (could be used for the printer but not sure how long it will run as i got
it cheap used). Still awaiting word back from mesh group on required harness but I
understand it's a center positive barrel jack that goes into the POE injectors.

For future reference, the Auto Zone on 27th and San Pablo charges car
batteries for free if folks are ever in a pinch.

good to know. i put 2 small (1.25A) chargers on the yellow battery in parallel so hoping
that's enough current density for that thang. the 4x 7.2Ah node batteries are all
rigged up with the POE injectors and marc flashed them with the latest and greatest mesh
firmware so we should be good to begin testing this afternoon.
i'm also hoping to finish the LED work i was doing last night so we have a visual
beacon to guide people to sudo room, will be hacking on that starting around 5PM if anyone
wants to help/learn
