Can someone please bring an HDMI adapter to sudoroom?
Tamale is fucked up somehow and none of us can figure out why.
Networking is broken and the SD card filesystem seems perfectly
normal. We can't test with a console connection because we can't find
our HDMI adapter. I know we had one once but it has disappeared. Can
someone please bring one so we can get our door to work again? Thanks!

I have a DVI-HDMI adapter and an hdmi cable that i'm bringing in, in 2 hours. Also
going to grab another hdmi-dvi cable from home since a couple people might bring RPis
tonight. We could use one more hdmi cable (i have a second adapter dongle but not a
second hdmi cable) tonight if anyone who is coming has one lying around. Jordan, will you
be there this afternoon? Would like to help get the terminal set up.

Last night tamale (the door RasPi) died. It was some low level hardware
error - when you plug it in even the lights don't even go on. :(
Jordan has graciously donated her RasPi as a swap-out replacement, and
it's working and I can SSH into it - but it doesn't open the door. One
problem is that when I plug in the door USB device, nothing shows up in
dmesg. I don't know what the problem is, maybe someone more adept at
hardware hacking can take a look at it.
The HDMI adapter will definitely come in handy if something like this
happens in the future.
