We have a 14,000 lumen sanyo projector that was donated to SudoRoom. This thing is bright enough to play in office light and possibly even daylight! It's so cool, thanks to Jake and the others for bringing this baby. It's fun to hack alongside others instead of being exiled to the ballroom. Projector + viewer movement Another thought hit me - some people suggested making an interactive kinect camera that projects upon people in front of the projector. these are cool experiments have been popular in the past, and you see them in full immersion rooms in museums. There is even a kinect at SudoRoom! But I just realized that modern smartphones (android and ios) are so powerful that it's typical for them to have body tracking algorithms with the camera so we could code projectons and animaions with just a standrad cell phone attached. I think there's also a use for kinect if we need it, but it's not as hard as it used to be. It was also rad just looking at the Kara Walker projection.
