Hello, I recently was invited to sudoroom to check out the sewing machines
and have tinkered with them a little bit. I've identified some problems,
missing pieces, etc. and want to keep working on/with them, but I'd like to
talk to anyone else who has used them or whoever brought them there. I look
forward to meeting y'all and I'm excited to get involved with the space.

Thanks Helen! Chris B. is a sudo room member and is interested in using the sewing
machines. He’s made inquiries into getting some parts. He doesn’t often use the mailing
lists so he might not see your message. If you see him around he would be a good person to
connect with about this.

funny. a friend of mine just asked me to ask y'all if she could store
her machine at the Omni in xchange for servicing all the machines.

In general I think it's not the best idea to store people's private things
at Omni, but if there were more details available we could discuss it at
the next sudo meeting?
If she wants to semi-permanently (e.g. long term) loan her sewing machine
to sudo room for others to use then that's different. If that's the case
then it depends what kind of machine it is. If it's a walking foot or a
serger then I think sudo room would definitely be interested!
