I've just left Make to help grow a new event that has a ton of overlap. You can find it at OpenSauce.com. Basically, back in 2019 when Maker Faire died for a while, we started brainstorming what a new event could be, mashing up our favorite parts of Maker Faire and Vidcon. OpenSauce was born. Tons of maker booths and a stage packed with folks you will recognize. We don't have a blog or magazine though, so getting the word out to get people to come show off requires a bit more of a personal touch. The event is in mid June.
