Hi all,
I still don’t have a clear picture of sudoroom finances, cash flow, or budget? Anybody
interested in joining me down this rabbit hole? Where can I get a handle on this
information? It would be nice to hear a report at every monthly meeting.

We started the year with $4449.84. At the end of January we had $2270.35. Right now, we
have $4919.07. I’ll be paying the rent again soon, so we’ll have less then.
We spend about $2k every month on rent. We have a few other expenses, but they’re not
large.
I guess I could talk about this every month if people really want that.

Attached is sudo room's statement of activity (profit & loss) from 01/2017
to date. I haven't finalled Omni's books for 2017 yet - and it looks like
there's at least one or two erroneous transactions (probably misattributed
a bank transfer as simply a xfer and not a rent payment).
The travel expense for $170 was the cost of the Uhaul when we picked up
those metal cabinets from the south bay. I can't recall who, but some kind
soul offset that cost via a Paypal donation. The bumps in income in August
and November were from selling our Bitcoins to pay off our back due rent.
Charley, remind me next time I see you to show you how to generate these
reports in Omni's Quickbooks account.

I also just shared a spreadsheet i started last year to create a 5-year
projected budget.
I didn't actually draft the budget, but it has 2017 actuals with data
imported from Stripe and Paypal, and the bank account
Sharing selectively as there are names on the sheet, ask for access.
