I didn't feel any critique. I was concerned I'd made a mistake!
There are not *currently* any corporate sponsors listed for Oakland.
However, I am sure that they're going to be looking for them, especially to
provide food/prizes.
One thing we could do is say that we will donate the space and be a sponsor
(via donating space) on the terms that other sponsors of the hackathon fit
our values.

I'm not anti-NASA. I love space! And I wasn't
meaning to direct any
critique towards you, at all, Ryan!
Just wanna be clear about / prepared for whatever kind of messaging will
be present (and if there are no corporate sponsors for Oakland, then I
personally feel less concerned.

The primary global sponsor/collaborator is NASA. I didn't think we were
so anti government that we'd be anti-NASA. If that's the case, mea culpa,
and I can ask them to find another space.

Hey!
I just checked out the list of collaborators for the SpaceApps Challenge
and wondering if people think it might be a good thing to think about some
ways we can reassert our values / subvert some of the gov / corporate
messaging that might be present...
