Thank you!!! Hello all! It’s June! Reading groups are in full swing, as is our current season of artist Cohort groups! We have some fun events on the horizon too. But before we get into that I want to say thanks to everyone who came out to our first ever fundraiser party on May 15th! It was so fun to see everyone and to have such a truly community-centered event. We had lots of help from Beo Beo for snacks, Quirk Social for drinks, and from rad volunteers the night of the event! Thanks again to our performers, Quinn Edlin, Nightjars, and Kim Ip! And thanks to all the artists/chefs/performers/publishers/friends (Jenny Odell, David Horvitz, Brittany Newell, Alexis Madrigal, Vivian Sming, Sean Talley, Marcel Pardo Ariza, and Gracie Schatz) who donated prizes! Thanks to all your support, we raised just about $5000, which will go to our programs, residencies, publishing projects and library! JUNE MINIMAG IS OUT! This issue is so good! We have new writing from Emily Kramer and Coco Picard, plus an interview with Aleah (the creator of TENDER zine), rad collaborative artworks created by our minimag team, and as always, a busy bay area events calendar. Tomorrow - June 4th - Sudoroom Theater "Field Trip"

Hey Gang! The newly renovated theater in the Omni commons is presenting - The House of Bernarda Alba - Would you like to go together? So far about 5 of us have signed up. I'm organizing this "Field Trip" because I think it would be fun for us to do something social together, and also as a way for sudo room to get to know our new neighbors and vice versa Normally tickets are $40 and up. But they also have a policy of offering discounted tickets ($10) upon special request.
