Thank you!!!
Hello all! It’s June! Reading groups are in full swing, as is our current
season of artist Cohort groups! We have some fun events on the horizon too.
But before we get into that I want to say thanks to everyone who came out
to our first ever fundraiser party on May 15th! It was so fun to see
everyone and to have such a truly community-centered event. We had lots of
help from Beo Beo for snacks, Quirk Social for drinks, and from rad
volunteers the night of the event! Thanks again to our performers, Quinn
Edlin, Nightjars, and Kim Ip! And thanks to all the
artists/chefs/performers/publishers/friends (Jenny Odell, David Horvitz,
Brittany Newell, Alexis Madrigal, Vivian Sming, Sean Talley, Marcel Pardo
Ariza, and Gracie Schatz) who donated prizes! Thanks to all your support,
we raised just about $5000, which will go to our programs, residencies,
publishing projects and library!
JUNE MINIMAG IS OUT!
This issue is so good! We have new writing from Emily Kramer and Coco
Picard, plus an interview with Aleah (the creator of TENDER zine), rad
collaborative artworks created by our minimag team, and as always, a busy
bay area events calendar.
Pick one up next time you’re at the library, or let us know if you’d like
us to bring a stack to host at your space/gallery/workplace/etc.
And join us this Thursday for a casual release event from 6-8pm!

Just a heads up, our hours have shifted a bit! (Nobody ever came by on
Thursday afternoons!) We’re now open Fridays 12-6 (with storefront) and
Saturdays 12-3 (library only). (And of course, during events). Come by and
casually co-work or browse the library!
