Barbera Brady stopped by offering to donate these cabinets & cost of uhaul
if needed.
She met Adam & thought sudoroom might want them as they were her father's &
he was a hacker/engineer type.
Ideally, we would get them by the end of August if not sooner
we've talked about this before but..
does anyone object to selling/giving away the giant JUKI sewing machine table AND
embroidery machine table?
i wish we could keep the latter (it's really cool when it works!) but since I
haven't been able to get it to work (and i tried) i'm ready to give up on it.
if nobody objects or offers a plan, i'll post them on craigslist and get them
out of the space, for free if necessary.

Hello Folks,
This email is to let you know that this Friday, Aug 11th, some of us will
be re-routing the network cables at the Sudoroom server area. The whole
building will not have Internet access during this process, which we
estimate will happen between 9:30am - 12:30pm.
Thank you, and please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi all,
If you have borrowed any of the microscope objectives or eyepiece lenses
from CCL, please return them as soon as possible.
If you see any microscopes sitting out, that is likely because they are in
use on a regular basis, and they will be sorely missed if not in working
order! Please don't remove parts from lab equipment without checking with
someone first.
So, please return our lenses - no questions asked. We have a pretty good
idea exactly when they disappeared, but we'd rather not have to do the
detective work to figure out who was where when. Let alone having to
install cameras or lock up all of our lab gear, which defeats the purpose
of having a community lab.
Thanks!
Patrik
It turns out that sudo room suddenly has $8,600 in bitcoin!
How did this happen? I don't know!
I think we should immediately sell at least enough to pay our debt to Omni.
Any sudo members who think we shouldn't just sell every single bitcoin
right now while the price is high?

Subject: 2 Studio/Workshops available in West Berkeley
Excellent location and quiet spaces. Across the street from OSH Hardware
and Berkeley Bowl West, and on the same block as Discount Fabrics, The
Shipyard and Urban Ore, as well as easy street parking and access from
I-80. Safe industrial west Berkeley neighborhood right on the border with
Emeryville and Oakland.
Ideal uses are art, electronics, office, etc. No heavy fabrication please,
but light is ok. We want to avoid anything creating lots of noise or
fumes. Optional access to large open 2-story area for occasional projects
with loading dock. We have blazing-fast gigabit internet with symmetrical
pipes, so can be a good choice for big data, such as video production. 24
hour access permitted, but must respect nighttime quiet. Living in either
space definitely not permitted.
First space is semi-open 21' x 13' with 2-story ceiling and large amount of
natural light. Has existing workbench and plenty of power (240v/120v). $390
/ month including utilities (reasonable electrical use, internet, trash).
(Surfboards not included!)
Second space is 18' x 15' in a very private location on the second floor.
Has openable window overlooking Ashby. Only 120v electrical. $490 / month
including utilities (reasonable electrical use, internet, trash). The desk
and drafting table pictured are included, but can be removed if
desired. (sorry,
the dressers are not included).
Please email for details or to arrange a visit!
