i setup a raspberry pi connected to the big TV in sudoroom if you need keyboard/mouse action it's plugged into #1 on the keyboard/video/mouse switch on the red wooden standing desk (next to the big TV) although the LCD monitor of that switch is not connected to the pi. you can ssh into it at its static IP which is 100.64.64.27 learn how to make it display things: hint, DISPLAY=:0 mplayer -vo none recording.wav the speakers work :)

need power strips for sudoroom

this is a simple request. If you have extra power strips, we could use them at sudoroom. presently the 3d printer desk does not have enough outlets, and neither does the computer building station to the right of it (the red standing desk thing with the KVM switch and the CNC machine) also if you have those plastic UPS things we can use those too, even if their batteries are no good. power strips can be left on the main table and we'll put them to work. thank you! -jake

It was somebody who recently became a Sudoroom member, and tried to subscribe to the members list. Then you got an email because you're an admin of the members list. Then you leaked their personal email by forwarding it to sudo-discuss. You should not do that. As a list admin, people are trusting you not to do that. Do you want to be a list admin?

Lost keys

HELP: Mega Truck Needs Jump

Hi My 20’ box truck needs a jump start - anyone out there have a really powerful truck that can help. Located across from Ashby Bart on Ashby. I’ve tried charging using my 6 cylinder truck and left it on for 2 hours but no go. I live on the other side of the block so an extension cord will not work. I need to move it to in front of my house and can charge from there - but first I have to get it started to drive it over. Thanks for your help or advice Alice 415-272-0596

Smallish SOLAR panel 15 x 40"

Hello Sudoers, Alice rising from the graves here. I am looking for a working solar panel to set on the dashboard of my mega truck to trickle charge / maintain the truck battery. If anyone knows of one laying around not being used I would like to see if this will solve my problem. I need a 100watts so it can produce 5 amps. I am also in the market for a 20 amp controller. I can donate $ to Sudo is there is something to be had - Knowledge of a local sources with competitive prices would also be helpful. Is Urban Ore a reasonable place to look for such an item?
