It'd be cool to see someone post even anonymously their opinions. the blog
looks mostly like a posting of events.
I liked the sudomesh post where jenny went to eastern europe. I know you
are all opinionated... anyone up for updating the blog with today's

Sudo Room is continuously short on rent, so any contributions will really

contributions such as delicious snacks brought to our Wednesday night

the black vending machine (closest to the exit sign and bathroom) is
nearly operational.

There is a beaglebone black inside which is on the network, and I am
working on software to get it to be able to dispense whatever we put in
there.
We need a quality combination lock for the thing, so that multiple people
can add goodies to it.
and of course there is a lot of software to write. At first, you will
only be able to pay using your sudo-humans account, and any money you put
into it.
I am only working on the software for the hardware - making the internal
electronics able to dispense product when the software triggers it. If
anyone wants to help with that, let me know - it's just arduino C.
Of course if you want to work on it, I will set you up with access codez.

Hello sudoers,
I'm trying to build a pseudo-docking station for my laptop, that would
enclose the power, hdmi and thunderbolt plugs that I currently have to plug
in separately (all are right next to each other).
The best idea I've had for how to do this has been to create a 3-d computer
model of the plugs, and then 3-d print an enclosure that can house all
three of them.
Do you have a laser scanner that could make such a model? I have some
experience with 3d printing, but I've never used a laser scanner before, so
I'd need some help with that, as I understand they can be quite finicky.
I would plan on making a monetary donation to sudoroom, and/or becoming a
member.
Alternatively, if anyone has any other ideas about how to do this, I'd
welcome them.

I know it's not -- are there other biohacker spaces around the world?
In Spain or Greece? I know that a lot of those places are great for time
banks & wifi sudomesh style projects due to the economy.
Is there a way to get a map of other hackerspaces up on the website? I'd
like to help put it up in my spare time.

Recent events in the news in both Europe and the USA are quite alarming
I knew this was always true, but it's especially important for all educated
and like-minded folks to stick together!
Hope we can all resolve our differences, find common ground, and
collaborate intelligently. There are evil times going on in politics all
over!

At last week's Sudo meeting, we signed up for Hacker Happy Hour
shifts. I took March 4, but now realize that's first friday. I usually
