Last call to get added to our membership database.
Please let me know if you need to be added.
Once you are added, you should be able to either login:
https://sudoroom.org/crm/?q=login
or reset your password:
https://sudoroom.org/crm/index.php?q=reset
Reminder: you can use a "sudo"nym, pseudonym, or other form of nym.
However, use an email address that works! The rest of the data (except
emergency contact) is generally visible to other members (that's the idea
here), so keep that in mind. Emergency contact info is visible only to some
members at the moment.

QUESTION:
Is it appropriate to...
Add our list of members from https://sudoroom.org/crm/ (membership
database) to the full list of OMNI participants, in order to verify access
to the new space?
This was brought up by another OMNIer as an interim access solution before
we have a more stable one installed.

hey just to give you heads up,
and a question i have for you
have you heard about the brand new west oakland youth center that just
opened on on the mcclymonds high school campus?
well catch this
they have a brand new computer lab but NO COMPUTERS yet because of funding
i just saw it on the news not but fifteen minutes ago where they said they
didnt have any money to buy computers
and the funding wouldnt allow them to buy any
so i was talking to max and he told me sudoroom has a pile of desktops
sitting next to the door

me: do you think that sudoroom could donate those computers to the youth
center computer lab and who would i talk to about getting them there. we
could get them ready and get them online maybe
it would be a really good thing for sudo and a fantastic thing for the kids
in the community if this could happen...
hit me back and let me know--much love, [image: :-)] DjNeonLeon
Marina: hey leon! probably best would be to email the listserv (
sudo-discuss(a)lists.sudoroom.org) and/or to drop by the meeting next wed.
i gotta go to bed now, but that's what i would recommend
Sent at 11:41 PM on Thursday

- Basically they are just north of the Coliseum on the east side of the 880
- You roll up on a scale, they weigh your truck, you go dump stuff, they
then weigh you on the way out and then you pay
- Can't exactly remember rates but about the same as city dump, plus they
seem to actually go through a lot more stuff than the city dump
Best,
David

Just came across this and thought I'd share:
"New America's Open Technology Institute (OTI) program seeks a Field
Analyst for our international community wireless projects.
You do not have to be an expert in wireless technology, because you will
work in close coordination with OTI's technologists, field engineers, and
contractors. Therefore, we welcome applications from people with experience
in comparable fields, such as international development, urban planning,
digital security, international public health, or humanitarian assistance."
Role includes: "Coordinate the construction of wireless mesh networks and
other technology projects."
